In this – the newest form of zombie public relations – we rundown this week’z top ‘zombie’ themed storiez and newz from around the globe and call it, ‘The Weekly Deadz.’

The idea behind this madness is to bring everything together so that you can devour it all at your convenience throughout the week.

Alright, enough lip chewin’ let’s dive right in…

7. Kansas militia prepares for zombies

We are not crazy. We are not paranoid. We believe in preparedness in any situation,” reads the website of the Kansas Anti Zombie Militia — a group that is deadly (wink, wink) serious about the possibility of having to fend off humans-turned-zombies.

6. Top 5 free Zombie games on Android

Fight for your survival against the hordes of the zombies attacking you from every direction.

A cynical world and the popularity of The Walking Dead has invited several zombie centric games to the mobile platform. But it is not as simple as it sounds to get rid of a zombie, for you have to shed its blood and completely destroy it.

Here is a collection of five fantastic Zombie games that you can download and enjoy for free.

5. Zombie Island: Puerto Rico Drug Addiction Turning Resident Users Into Zombies …

On an island where the economy is manipulated by drugs, and hundreds of thousands of residents have consumed or are currently consuming addictive substances, it might not come as a surprise that Puerto Rico has been described as“the new front door of the war on drugs”, or “the backdoor to America.”

4. How to look like a zombie: My Warm Bodies set visit makeover

On a freezing December morning, about ten other journalists and I headed down to an abandoned airport in Montreal, Canada. If it sounds a little freaky, it was. Our purpose there? To be transformed into brain-eating zombies for the day, and serve as extras in the sci-fi rom-com,Warm Bodies.

3. Game review: All Things Zombie

All Things Zombie, a new board game from Lock N Load Publishing, is an intense tactical simulation that pits survivors against hordes of the undead. Known primarily as a war game designer, it is no surprise that Lock N Load’s foray into zombie board gaming should both look and play like a war game simulation.

2. Telltale’s Zombie Success Grosses $40 Million

Telltale Games’ episodic zombie saga grossed about $40 million, or the equivalent of 8.5 million episodes sold, since its launch in April 2012. This runaway success, according to Telltale CEO Dan Connors, will help grow the company, and one of the areas of growth Connors is looking at is more original property.

1. How to protect yourself from zombie attack

Look around and ask yourself: Who among us hasn’t needed to protect themselves from the threat of zombies? Come on now, be honest. One area company is keenly aware of the need to do so and created a strong-selling product line.
